The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) has partnered with The Regional Assessment and Resource Centre (RARC) at Queen’s University along with the Northern Ontario Assessment and Resource Centre (NOARC) at Cambrian College to develop a specialized transition and mentorship program for students with mental health issues who are transitioning to post-secondary education: The Successful Transition Online and Mentoring Program (STOMP). We will be conducting a focus group in Timmins, Ontario on Friday, November 13 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Northern College to learn more about the student transition process.
