Happy Summer from JPD!
The end of the school year draws near and the early days of summer are not far behind. This’ll be the first summer since 2019 to possibly feel, just perhaps, kind of normal. Get out there and enjoy it! Before you do, take a look at the latest issue from JPD, including articles celebrating Pride Month.
Thinking of possible careers now that school is done? Check out our profiles on singers, farm equipment mechanics, and artistic directors. How about getting into business for yourself? Take a look at how entrepreneurship will drive the post-COVID world and whether you should start a business with a friend.
For those with school still on the brain, check out a high school horror story about math class, as well as advice on how to handle a failing grade. Looking to forget about school and enjoy your summer? Take a look at some swimming tips before you jump in the pool, and advice on juggling chores, work, and more while maintaining a good work-life balance.
Finally, I want to send a big thank you to all our writers for this month: Meghan Brown, Tiffany Chang, Susan Huebert, Sarah Leung, Linda Mendes, Rochelle Pangilinan, Elora Pharai, Julia Skoczypiec, and Bhargavi Venkataraman.
Look forward to more articles in the fall. Until then, have a great (and possibly even normal) summer!
Regards,
