Soak in Some Sunlight

As frustrating as the cold can be, the worst part of winter for many (myself included) is the lack of sunlight. Once the sun sets, the day is over, just like that — even with so many hours left. But it can be hard for our brains to register that fact, so instead we’re left with these truncated days. Even though they’re just as long as the days of summer, it sure doesn’t feel that way, which is why Daylight Savings Time is such a game changer for all of us, for better or for worse.

As the weather warms, and students head into March Break, take time to soak up the sun and enjoy the daylight. A day is always 24 hours, but our brains are easily tricked, so take advantage of being tricked into feeling the day suddenly became longer and make the most of it.
