Being kind is an innate characteristic that we all possess. Don’t let peer pressure change you into something you are not! Bullying is not something that comes naturally to any of us. If you see someone being bullied, speak up. Help out. Don’t sit in silence and let it continue. Be the person that you know you can be! This month, we have two articles on bullying that will help you make the right choices.

In our Scholarships section, we’ve listed 10 new scholarships/bursaries that you can apply for. It’s hard to believe, but this year is almost over! That means it is time to start preparing your applications for 2013 scholarships. Get a head start so you won’t have to scramble later!

Finally, November is a month of remembrance. Whether you watch the Remembrance Day ceremonies on television or attend one in your city, it is important that we remember all that has been lost and sacrificed for our freedom. Chances are you are related to someone who has gone to war, so learn about their experiences and share them!
